Christian Keyes put the entertainment industry on notice when he unloaded shocking allegations about his enduring years of sexual harassment and an attempted sexual assault.
Fearful of retaliation, the actor remained vague in his descriptions of the assailant in a Dec.
15 Instagram Live, as he carefully recounted unwanted advances and a six-figure bribe as tactics that the unrelenting Hollywood power player has used throughout Keyes’ career.
He described the man as a pivotal figure in film and television, saying that the individual is praised for his good deeds to help others, like paying for groceries.
“Once the sexual harassment started, I was like, I gotta protect me, because I don’t want this person, as powerful as they are, to try and get in the way of my work.”
He claimed the recordings demonstrate that someone with a voice familiar to the public harassed him. Keyes did not name the individual but said he had hidden devices recording their conversations.
“If you thought that Diddy s— was crazy, you don’t even know,” Keyes said, alluding to the recent sexual abuse lawsuits filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
I just hope that he goes ahead and present whatever evidence he has to the authorities and start the process.”
Meanwhile, one person believed that Cassie’ssuing and settlement with Diddy in November had inspired others like Christian Keyes to share their history of sexual harassment abuse in Hollywood.

In a December interview with Atlanta Black Star, Keyes disclosed that writing and creating became his “refuge” as a child who experienced trauma growing up in the foster care system and being abused by the first woman who adopted him.

Social media users have theorized en masse who the culprit could be, with scores of people deducing that Perry is the mysterious “powerful man.”
Keyes, however, seemed to cast doubt on the theories of his fans playing detective when he liked a tweet suggesting that the mogul had not perpetuated the trauma that he endured.
“Yeah, but he also does… this.”
Keyes showed fans a keychain recorder, saying he has kept one on him since 2005. “Neighbors complained because she would have, as a punishment, she made me walk down the street naked in the rain at 9 years old to ask a neighbor for a magazine.”
The father of one went on to launch his career with roles in Tyler Perry‘s stage plays in the early 2000s but has since landed numerous film and television gigs.
As folks continue to bombard Keyes with speculation about who assaulted him, he shared a clip of the sit-down on Instagram on Dec.
20 and provided more clarity about why he was hesitant to reveal their names.
“Maybe it’ll be a little easier to understand why it was difficult to speak up about it, difficult to find the courage,” he began in his caption. Throughout his rise to prominence, Perry has been vocal about his own experiences with sexual assault at a young age.
“Watching Christian Keyes & can tell he is clearly a victim…only $3 grand to his name & violated by a gay billionaire & no I don’t believe it was TP…I wish Christian would have taken action…that man will still have his money & good name & Christian will remain broken,” read a Dec.

The “Madea Goes to Jail” and “What’s Done in The Dark” standout has enjoyed a long work relationship with Perry dating back nearly two decades. “I wasn’t working for him [at the time]. In another instance, he says the man appeared at his apartment and offered him $100,000 to “take his clothes off.”
It appeared to be part of the effort to recruit Keyes, but the actor kept asserting his lack of interest.
The “All the Queen’s Men” creator said the public would easily identify the man by hearing his voice — a realistic possibility since Keyes admitted he has secretly recorded some of the indecent proposals. “These powerful people target people with traumatic childhoods, and use that to bond with them and earn their trust, then they try their “attempts”… Once you go through anything like I went through, for years as a kid.
After the man approached him with an “offer” of a role, the actor secretly recorded the incident.
At a party at the man’s house, in a different encounter, he said the man tried to “climb in bed” with him and grabbed his genitals after he became inebriated.
As soon as he heard about Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s sexual abuse lawsuit, Keyes said he broke his silence, saying he wished he’d spoken out years ago to protect other men.
“I’ve kept one of these on me since ’05, whether it’s a keychain recorder or a pen, because most predators will check your phone,” he said. It’s not just women that have to deal with it, it will be men sometimes, and it will be men tempting men,” he stated.
Keyes said he preferred to take “the long way around” building a career rather than achieving quick success to “maintain my integrity.””At some point it’s going to have to come out,” he said, describing the man as a hero to many fans.
The actor then displayed an image of a pen camera.
Later in the video, he made it clear that he’s heterosexual, adding that his “policy” is his beard “is the only one in the bed.”
On another note, out of fear that his decision could significantly affect his career, he admitted to having recordings of this particular individual– in case there were repercussions for his refusal to participate.
“The wonderful thing about confidentiality agreements and non-disclosure agreements is that they can’t prevent you from turning all of those things over to the police,” Christian Keyes added.
“Because sexual harassment is a crime, attempted sexual assault is a felony.”
Keyes revealed that he’s “tried [his] best to forgive this person,” but it’s something that “bothers him at night” when he’s alone. “He’s still a predator and it’s not okay.
Christian says he “wants to tell it” — meaning the whole story — “over the mountain,” but his brother convinced him to wait.
Despite the nature of the reveal, Christian Keyes reassured his fans that he’s “good…God got [him].
