We help parents to feel more comfortable, confident and effective in parenting or advocating for their child. Gay has over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults, specializing in the assessment and treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Gay lives on a small farm east of Shawnee which was first purchased by his grandparents in 1940.
Before founding ABC, he worked in a group practice providing treatment and diagnostic evaluation services to children, adolescents and families.

Biography
Nathan Gay is a 1989 graduate of OBU where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
She currently teaches kindergarten. He is a certified public accountant. Gay also serves as a professor of accounting at Rose State College in Midwest City and as an adjunct professor of accounting in remote courses in both New Hampshire and Ohio. He utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach to treatment, relying on effective, practical treatment approaches that help children, adolescents and families to reach their unique treatment goals.

We help children and adolescents to learn skills and strategies to improve their attention, complete homework, worry less, be happier or improve their overall self-esteem.Dr. Gay also has experience and training in the assessment and/or treatment of social, emotional or behavioral concerns such as anxiety, depression, oppositional or defiant behavior, school refusal, as well as adult ADHD evaluation and treatment. Our providers have experience and training to help with many of the questions or concerns that lead parents to seek treatment.

We are a busy group practice located in Holden, MA that provides counseling and psychological services to children, adolescents, families, and even adults.
He earned a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty University. The Bison spirit runs deep in the Gay family as his wife also graduated from OBU in 1984. He completed his APA Pre-Doctoral Internship at UMASS Memorial Community Healthlink – Youth and Family Services in Worcester, MA. Prior to starting Attention, Behavior and Cognition, Dr.
Gay was the Director of Clinical Services at a non-profit behavioral health organization providing special education and treatment services to children, adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, intellectual and developmental disorders.
