Norway has strong anti-discrimination laws. We can’t think of a better way to experience everything the Fjord has to offer than by this hopping tour, during which you will explore 1000-year-old ruins, a gorgeous hidden beach, and unique traditional wooden cabins. Quirky, fun and with free opera on Tuesday and Thursday… what’s not to love!

Always plan your return journey in advance. The community is incredibly open and friendly. It caters to fetish and leather interests. Of course, you can also enjoy these from most of their stylish views with a look out over the city towards the Oslo Fjord. Though slightly outside the city center, the museum is easily accessible via public transport with the Oslo Pass, and entry is included.

The Vigeland Park

Frogner Park, Oslo’s largest park, is also home to the renowned Vigeland Sculpture Park.

With over 200 bronze, granite, and cast-iron sculptures by artist Gustav Vigeland, this area has earned the nickname “the naked sculpture park” due to the abundance of nude human figures.

Beyond the sculptures, the park itself is a gorgeous place to relax on a sunny day.

However, smaller events and drag shows occur throughout the year. The pass also offered discounts at various restaurants and sightseeing activities.

The best way to use the pass is to purchase it before arriving, through the app (available on both iPhone and Android), and activate it upon arrival. We loved the Scandinavian chic feel, delicious full breakfast, and relaxed vibe.

So why not try something totally new on your holiday? On a sunny day in summer, you can sit outside and enjoy other queer company, or in the winter, escape the cold in the cozy interior.

While it may not be as wild as London Club, it’s a fantastic place to socialize and soak in the local atmosphere.

Elsker

Elsker is another beloved venue among Oslo’s queer community. From historic pubs to energetic clubs, the city's gay bars and queer venues provide a safe and vibrant atmosphere for celebration and connection.

You will feel welcome in many mainstream venues too. Cesar offers a cozy café atmosphere during the day and a welcoming bar by night. Every bite was exquisite, and by the end of the meal, I practically rolled back to my hotel!

Final Thoughts

Oslo truly exceeded my expectations.

His impressive statues seek to symbolize human relationships, and we think he hit the nail on the head. This started right upon arrival at the airport, when border control asked what brought me to the city. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking Oslo gay bars.
